Learning outcomes

The course consists of a significant practical activity to facilitate the acquisition of skills and knowledge during teaching hours.

Educational activities will take place:

• In the classroom for conventional frontal teaching related to Posturology and Dental Ergonomics and to learn the use of scientific databases for bibliographic research and preparation of PowerPoint presentations.

• In the Posturology classroom for acquiring the basics of Dental Ergonomics and postural awareness.

• In the clinic to put into practice the acquired knowledge.

Course contents

Knowledge and skills

At the end of the course, the student will possess knowledge and skills concerning:

 

• basics of posturology and dental ergonomics;

• preventive & therapeutic exercises for joint mobilization and decompression and muscle release;

• work-related musculoskeletal disorders among dental professionals;

• bibliographic research and critical analysis of scientific articles.
