Learning outcomes

Knowledge of the basic quantitative tools for the economic-financial analysis of business decisions and for the interpretation of management results. Knowledge of the problems of intellectual property protection as a priority for corporate development. Outline of the problems of technology transfer from academic to industrial knowledge. Knowledge on how to manage innovation in established corporations and new ventures

Teaching methods

Lectures and classroom exercises. Following the Covid emergency, teaching will be provided according to the methods established by the School of Engineering

Assessment methods

Exam test at the end of the course Exam topics: 2 numerical exercises + 3 open questions (of which 2 on the innovation part and 1 on the budget part)

Test frequency: 3 after the first semester, 2 after the second semester (June and July), 1 in September.
