  • Principles of medical ethics from classical antiquity to the Middle Ages
  • Principles of medical ethics from the early modern to the contemporary age
  • The birth of bioethics and the first centers of study
  • Principles of bioethics in monotheistic religions: Judaism, Christianity, Islam
  • Eastern religions and bioethics

 

SPECIAL PART

  • Ethical issues related to early life
  • Ethical issues related to the end of life

Assessment methods

The level of learning will be verified at the end of the course. The exam consists in the oral discussion of a topic agreed between teacher and student. The result will be integrated with the evaluation of the other disciplines of the integrated course
