Learning outcomes

The student acquires the ability to concretely use the operational techniques learned in the classroom and in the laboratory.

Course contents

The student acquires the ability to concretely use the operational techniques relating to the various training fields pertaining to the Management, Training and Research areas, according to the methods learned in the classroom, in laboratories/seminars, in the in-depth study, and in the internship.

AREA: Management and Quality

General learning objectives

-Strategic and organizational planning of assistance and prevention services;

-Effective and efficient management of assigned resources;

-Sviluppo delle risorse umane.

AREA: Training

General learning objectives

-Planning and organization of training activities;

-Management and provision of training activities;

-Evaluation of the didactic quality and of the impact of the training activities.

AREA: Research and Prevention (prevention strategies and effectiveness assessment of prevention interventions, Evidence Based Practice and Prevention)

General learning objectives

-Assessment of the health status of the population - Planning and conducting prevention and health promotion interventions in communities - Analysis and transfer of results;

-Design, conduct, analyze and transfer research results.

Teaching methods

1^ PART: Compulsory attendance of the student at the internship seminar laboratories that will take place in the classroom and will have the purpose of linking the theoretical concepts previously addressed in teaching with the practical ones that will be addressed later in the curricular internship.

2^ PART: Compulsory individual student attendance with professional tutors at accredited public health and/or private facilities in the identified learning areas (management and quality, training, research and prevention).

Assessment methods

1^ PART: The learning assessment will focus on the elaboration of a project work on an area chosen by the student: management and quality, or training, or research and prevention.

2nd PART: The learning assessment will focus on an oral exam with presentation and discussion of project work on individual internship experiences carried out in the curricular learning areas: management and quality, training, research and prevention.

Teaching tools

Didactic material of the laboratories/seminars and a supplementary compendium for the in-depth study of the topics covered by the curricular internship, in addition to the practical representation of the concepts covered.
