Learning outcomes

At the end of the course, the student knows the basic concepts of pedagogy and the themes of educational skills in the health professions, with particular reference to the identification of educational interventions aimed at the prevention, maintenance and recovery of a state of health that allows to lead a life as autonomous as possible for the individual in the various stages of life. He also knows the pedagogical dimension in relation to the planning of assistance paths. Finally, he understands and uses group dynamics as a cooperative operating mode.

Course contents

The module consists of three parts. In the first part, a theoretical and epistemological framework will be offered on the concepts of pedagogy and education and on the main fields of investigation concerning the pedagogical sciences. This will be followed by an in-depth study on the pedagogy of emotions, in particular taking into consideration the importance of interpersonal relationships and feelings also from the point of view of health education. Finally, the links between pedagogy, education, health and health professions will be deepened.
