Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student has the knowledge of the organizational context in which the physiotherapist works. He knows the most significant aspects of the main laws and regulations governing the health care system and the figure of the Italian physiotherapist. He knows the main concepts of the sociology of work according to the different theoretical approaches: the division of labor, employment, profession and expertise. He knows the impact of organizational change on the skills of the health care and the historical evolution of the health professions.

Teaching methods

The learning process will be supported by lectures, classroom discussions and group work

Assessment methods

Verification of learning takes place through a written test lasting 60 minutes, containing 9 multiple choice questions (1 point for correct question, 0 points for incorrect or unmarked question) relating to the main topics covered during classroom lessons and 3 open questions (max 7 points per question) which will verify the competence acquired in the integration of such contents and the terminology used. To take the exam, registration in the special lists published on Alma Esami is required. The use of any supporting material, such as handouts or notes, is not allowed during the test. In order to pass the exam of the integrated course and proceed with the verbalization of the same, the student must be sufficient in all the courses of the Integrated Course. The final grade will be given by the average of the marks reported in the individual modules of the Integrated Course.
