Learning outcomes

At the end of the module, the student possesses the knowledge relating to the organizational context in which the physiotherapist operates. Knowledge of the most significant aspects of the main laws and regulations that regulate the Italian health system and the figure of the physiotherapist. He also knows the main concepts of the sociology of work according to the different theoretical approaches: the division of labor, occupation, profession and competence. Knowledge of the impact of organizational change on the skills of the health worker and the historical evolution of the health professions.

  • Health reforms and the evolution of health legislation in Italy
  • The health system in Italy from birth to its development
  • The National Health Plan and the Regional Health Plan
  • The regulatory evolution of non-medical health professionals The professional profile of the physiotherapist and the code of ethics
  • Definition of profession and competence
  • The ministerial guidelines on rehabilitation and the policy plan
  • The university reform and the training course of the physiotherapist Criminal, civil, administrative / disciplinary liability (also with reference to the various employment contracts)
  • Health records Order / Professional register Regulations for opening a professional office / clinic
  • The dimensions of quality and the choice of indicators in physiotherapy
