Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student is familiar with:
- The concept of dual diagnosis and comorbidity;
- Severe personality disorders (relational approach and assessment);
- Psychiatric disorders and addiction;
- Defense mechanisms of borderline pathology;
- Substance abuse and dependence associated with psychological issues;
- Pathological gambling and psychiatric symptomatology;
- Regional guidelines for DGP (Dual Diagnosis Programs).
Specifically, the student is able to:
- Apply educational and rehabilitative techniques to patients with dual diagnoses.
