Learning outcomes

Students will be able to: - Learn the basic and advanced elements of the functional anatomy of consciousness and its acute and chronic disorders.

Acquire the ability to assess the level of impairment of consciousness in acute and chronic situations

Identify the causes of possible cognitive disorders

Utilize the most appropriate diagnostic tools in the diagnosis and management of altered states of consciousness

Develop skills in interacting with patients and family members in communicating the steps of diagnostic management and disease communication.
