Learning outcomes

At the end of the module the student has the ability to apply knowledge and understanding of the main models of interpretation of motor development, motor behavior of the child and its variability. It identifies the preventive and rehabilitative needs of the child affected by the main pathologies of the developmental age through the various evaluation methods. Knows the tools that can be used to achieve the identified objectives. Can plan and execute interventions aimed at satisfying the aforementioned needs.

  • Evaluation and treatment of the most frequent orthopedic pathologies in the developmental age: Myogenic torticollis and positional torticollis; Plagiocephaly; Congenital clubfoot; Brachial plexus injuries
  • Main genetic and chromosomal syndromes of physiotherapy interest
