Learning outcomes

At the end of the course, the student is familiar with the general principles of pathophysiology with regard to the interpretation needs of future clinical activity. In particular, knowledge of these principles allows a complete understanding of the elements underlying the altered functioning of organs and apparatuses from which both semiological and clinical aspects derive. The student will also be able to correctly approach the clinical approach to the patient with regard to the physical objectivity component, with a capacity for autonomous assessment of various apparatuses and in relation to the knowledge of investigative procedures proper to clinical methodology. The integration of knowledge of clinical pathophysiology and semeiotics enables the student to understand and tackle the elementary basis of diseases in a preparatory manner for the future development of the course of study.
