Learning outcomes
At the end of the module the student possesses the main knowledge that proves the good practice of care in the processes that are articulated in the autonomous practice and/or in the caring team. Knows the methodology for finding evidence that regulates good clinical-care practice.
Course contents
Evidence-based professional practice. - Definition, methods and tools of EBP - Building the research question: the PICOS method; Sources of information: - typology of primary and secondary studies; - The main study designs; - Systematic reviews; - Guidelines: Characteristics of evidence-based guidelines, Research methodology -The main databases of scientific literature; - methods and tools for researching scientific studies. - practical application.
