“Evidence Based Nursing (EBN)”
Course objectives: • Know the decision-making model of evidence-based nursing; reflect on practice and identify areas of uncertainty and translate these areas into answerable questions; • Know the databases, search the literature for studies that use appropriate designs to help answer the question; CONTENTS - EBP definition, methods and tools and research questions; - Characteristics of the biomedical literature; - Study drawings. - Strategies for the management of scientific literature; - Search in the main databases. Search databases of primary and secondary studies (systematic reviews and guidelines) Systematic reviews: - Characteristics of systematic reviews; - Criteria for defining the quality of a systematic review; Guidelines: Features of evidence-based guidelines, grading and grade systems, evaluation criteria of guidelines
