Learning outcomes

At the end of the module the student has an understanding of the Functional Models of Health and knows the nursing methodology to respond progressively to the different degrees of care complexity that the person / family / community present.

  7. Hydroelectrolytic balance

  8. Intestinal elimination

  9. urinary elimination

  10. Measurement and monitoring of vital signs

  • Health care safety

  • Control of nursing associated infections

  • Surgery preparation, prevention and monitoring of complications

  • Main laboratory investigations

  • Therapeutic prescription application

  • End of life care with assistance for patients and their families

  • Patient/family education and continuity of care
