Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student is able to possess the fundamentals of periodontal anatomy, surgical flap design and the most common periodontal surgical procedures. He is also able to monitor the patient's post-surgical phase both in terms of pain control and any complications. At the end of the course the student will have specific knowledge on: surgical flaps and incisions; soft tissue surgery; resective bone surgery; treatment of furcations; guided tissue regeneration; modification of the periodontium induced by orthodontic treatment; sutures; antibiotic therapy;
