Learning outcomes
Provide the students with the ability to handle machines and measurements in order to assess their performance. Simulations analyses will be performed in order to provide insights on the design choices.

Modeling of machines and energy systems
Reproduction of machines and energy systems in virtual environment by means of: observation of the real behavior; simplificative hypoteses; equations; discretization; measure probe location; tuning; solution; validation

The course attendance is mandatory
The final evaluation of the student relies on the development of a projectgiven by the professor. A technical presentation of the project is required as well.
Non-attending students will be evaluated by means of the resolution of some numerical exercises as well as an oral presentation.
