Course contents

This part of the Course has the following objectives:

 

  • To Define the role of the thoracic surgeon in malignant lung disease.
  • To Develop knowledge regarding the history of chest surgical techniques: from the open technique to the minimally invasive technique.
  • To Define surgical videothoracoscopy (VATS).
  • To Define robotic thoracic surgery (RATS).
