Learning outcomes

At the end of the module the student has the ability to apply knowledge and understanding regarding the main models of interpretation of motor development, the child's motor behavior and its variability. Identify the preventive and rehabilitative needs of the child affected by the main pathologies of developmental age through the various evaluation methods. He knows the tools that can be used to achieve the objectives identified. He knows how to plan and carry out interventions aimed at satisfying the aforementioned needs.

The preterm infant:

Infantile Cerebral Palsy (PCI):

  • physiotherapy strategies indicated for the achievement of the objectives in the various forms: spastic, ataxic, dystonic
  • respiratory physiotherapy

Neuromuscular diseases:

Spina Bifida:

Genetic and chromosomal diseases:

Midwifery paralysis:

Congenital clubfoot (PTC):

  • family training in the use of orthoses 

Myogenic torticollis and plagiocephaly:
