Learning outcomes

At the end of the module, the student has the ability to apply knowledge and understanding of the main physiotherapy methods used in the neurological field and can evaluate and set up a treatment plan in relation to them.

Course contents

During the course, topics related to:

  • Affolter concept
  • Bobath concept
  • Kabat concept
  • Cognitive Therapeutic Exercise (Perfect)
  • Motor Relearning Program
  • Constraint Induced Movement Therapy

Specifically, the context of development of the method, the theoretical assumptions and the areas of application will be addressed; practical application examples will also be provided.

The assessment of learning will be structured through an oral test aimed at verifying the understanding and knowledge relating to the topics developed during the theoretical lessons, as well as the practical application on clinical cases proposed.
