Learning outcomes
At the end of the module, the student is able to identify the risk and manage and plan the care process, in relation to gynecological and urogynecological pathologies and emergency / urgency.

1. Management of gynecological care processes in urgent-emergency
Obstetric-gynecological triage
Urgencies and emergencies, timeliness of the intervention and skills in the obstetric profession
Obstetric-gynecological semeiotics

Obstetric emergencies

Audit and Risk management
Obstetric competence in emergencies
Hypovolemic shock - Atypical blood loss with severe bleeding: Menorrhagia, less-metrorrhagia, postmenopausal bleeding, genital trauma.
Uterine haemorrhages, Acute abdomen (haemorrhagic corpus luteum, ovarian cyst rupture, ovarian torsion, PID, GEU, OHSS)
Diseases of the first trimester of pregnancy: threat of abortion, spontaneous abortion, vesicular mole, hyperemesis gravidarum
Acute and intense uterine tenderness: dysmenorrhea, endometriosis, uterine fibroids - Sexual violence
2. Management of care processes in the preventive-gynecological field
Assessment of the state of health of the woman, gynecological semiotics, pelvic examination, clinical assessment of the breast
Care pathways in the prevention of sexually transmitted diseases, the vaginal ecosystem and STDs
Care pathways in oncogynecology, care plan for women with oncological pathology: cervicocarcinoma, carcinoma of the vagina, cancer of the vulva and ovary, carcinoma of the endometrium
Care pathways in menopausal and climacteric women
Assistance plans in diagnostic and instrumental investigations: gynecological surgery, bacteriological and cytological examination, abdominal-pelvic and transvaginal instrumental examinations
Care plans in gynecological diseases: premenstrual syndrome, amenorrhea, dysmenorrhea, toxic shock, pelvic floor dysfunction
Sexological counseling
3. Obstetric competence in the obstetric-gynecological surgical area
Obstetric surgical assistance (Midwiferypre-intra-post operative)
Instrumental revision of cavities, uterine tamponade, cervical cerclage, assistance in manual afterbirth in the operating room
Caesarean section and hysterectomy
Vaginal interventions: diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy, marsupialization of Bartholin's gland cysts
