At the end of the course, the student has the knowledge and ability to understand the pathophysiological bases, symptoms and signs of the main rheumatic diseases.

- Inflammatory myopathies
- Giant Cell arteritis and introduction on systemic vasculitis
- Vascular bone disorders (bone edema syndrome, CRPS, avascular necrosis)

Assessment methods
Verification of learning takes place through the performance of an oral test aimed at assessing the achievement of the course's educational objectives. The exam is carried out, even if not jointly, by the teachers of the disciplines that make up the course.
Graduation of the final grade
Very limited knowledge of the topics covered in the course and analytical skills that emerge only with the help of the teacher, expressed in an overall correct language → 18-19;
Limited knowledge of topics covered in the course and ability to autonomous analysis only on purely executive matters, expression in correct language → 20-24;
Broad knowledge of topics covered in the course, ability to make independent choices of critical analysis, mastery of specific terminology → 25-29;
Substantially exhaustive knowledge of the topics covered in the course, ability to make autonomous choices of critical analysis and connection, full mastery of specific terminology and ability to argue and self-reflection → 30-30L.
Teaching tools
The didactic material (slides) presented during the lesson will be made available to students on the Virtual portal. In addition, the slides of the lessons are provided with a bibliography in the margin, in order to allow the student any further information.
