Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student:
- is able to design a detailed training program: in the short-, middle-, and long-term; in the different stages of the preparation; for different types of sports; specifying the load characteristics in relation with the individual performance, the age, the level of specialization, and the gender.
- is able to use informatic tools to collect training and test data for performance and fitness monitoring, with the aim of producing in real-time a computerized data base
-is able to use advanced tools for real-time monitoring of endurance, strength, power and quickness training and to individuate with appropriate devices overreaching and overtraining conditions
-is able to select and use different types of special exercises useful to improve the different conditional capacities
-knows the main topics related to training in hypoxic or other particular environmental conditions
