68014 - Educational Technology Laboratory (G.E)

Academic Year 2019/2020

  • Teaching Mode: Traditional lectures
  • Campus: Bologna
  • Corso: Single cycle degree programme (LMCU) in Primary teacher education (cod. 8540)

Course contents

The laboratory aims to introduce tools and methods of daily work that stress the potential of the teacher and are an opportunity to propose an active and laboratory teaching.

In particular, some functionalities of the e-learning platforms (Moodle and the G Suite) will be considered as tools for sharing between teachers and between teachers and learners.

Softwares not used for educational purposes (Liber Office, CmapsTools, etc.) will be used, but as support for the school activities, always in the perspective of open source.

An important role will also be the knowledge of the new learning environments beyond the classroom and of the possible teaching strategies in these new contexts of study

Teaching methods

The course is organized in laboratory mode and includes both practical tests evaluated by the teacher during the meetings, and tests and / or processed to be presented or delivered to the teacher at the end of the meetings.

In particular, we will work individually (research and implementation of teaching materials and concept maps) and a small group to produce a teaching unit.

Please note that one of the meetings will be held together with some students of the secondary school, in the role of tutor.
