Learning outcomes

Beginning with a reflection on the linguistic abilities and habits of make and female students, the course proposes to outline the principles and features of Italian language teaching in primary schools. The goal of language teaching is that the children acquire articulate linguistic competence and active means to reflect on and search for the most suitable means of communication to fulfil their needs.

Particular attention will be focused on teaching strategies to adopt in order to encourage learning of written language ad development of metalinguistic competence.
