Learning outcomes

The main objective of this course is to provide basic knowledge on the following items:

-principles of the evidence-based medicine and prevention

-distribution of environmental diseases 

-introduction to the main methods of the epidemiological studies used in public health

- epidemiology of environmental diseases

- non-occupational, domestic and environmental asbestos exposure

- benzene and particulate from motorvehicle exhaust

- evaluating effectiveness of preventive interventions
