Learning outcomes
At the end of the module the students will be expected to have:
acquired a general knowledge about etiopathogenesis, epidemiology, clinical manifestation and complications of cancer;
acquired a basic knowledge about cancer nursing and expecially about the diagnostic-therapeutic approach, chemotherapy and new target therapies, radiotherapy, prevention and treatment of side effects of cancer-therapy.

- Epidemiology, pathogenesis and prevention of cancer
- Symptoms, complications and prognosis of cancer
- Diagnosis and staging
- Treatment: surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and new target therapy
- Prevention and management of treatment complications, supportive care.
- Nursing of patient with blood diseases
