Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student knows:-The basics and general principles of rehabilitation in the patient with head-brain trauma; -Scales of assessment in severe brain cranial trauma; -Treatment of dysphagia in severe cranial-brain trauma; -The treatment of cognitive-behavioral and communicative-linguistic disorders in severe cranial-brain trauma. It is also able to:-Perform cognitive-behavioural framing of the patient with head-brain trauma; -Perform a morphodynamics evaluation of the Deglutitoria chain in the patient with cranial-brain trauma; -to plan the rehabilitation intervention both for the dysphagia symptom and for the cognitive-communicative-linguistic deficits identified in the different rehabilitation phases (acute-subacute-chronic); -Discuss clinical cases in patients subjected to a standardized testistica evaluation of cognitive-communicative-linguistic functions.
Course contents
The course aims to present and acquire theoretical/practical knowledge and skills related to the patient with brain trauma.
Educational program:
1 ° The Cranial traumatized patient: general aspects of care, definitions and epidemiology.
2 ° classifications and clinical framing in the TEC-in the acute phase
-In the post-lesion evolutionary phases
-Clinical and functional frameworks: evolution and recovery, associated damage and complications.
3 ° Acute, post-acute and in the results: final and methodical procedures.
4 ° logopaedic Counselling in the patient with TCE
-Neuropsychology of head trauma: from mild trauma to severe frontal syndromes
-Neuropsychological rehabilitation and counseling logopaedic in the traumatized cranial
