Learning outcomes

The Course has the following aims:

1) to explain the relationship between art and science

2) to explain how a doctor might be as an artist while treating a patient and doing his work

The student gets information about the diagnosis and treatment of a patient and how to manage him, considering that there is not only a scientific vision but also an human vision.

Course contents

The medecine is not only a precise science but also an art.

Several discoveries have been made due to different factors not Always based on science.

The course tries to show th relationship between art and science; tries to puntualize the role of humanities in the relation to the patient; tries to evaluate the role of a doctor as a scientist and an artist in the treatment of the patient.

The course evaluates the following themes: 

medecine and discoveries; the methods of scientists; to be a Teacher; education and teaching methods
