Course contents
As initial efforts on italian>chinese translation, the students will be asked to treat daily themes conversations and short extract texts, where they will be shown the different expression features of the two languages and basic translating strategy.
During the next phase, texts regarding italian culture will be analysed, with special attention on their syntactic structures and specific vocabularies adopted.

Assessment methods
The final assessment will be a writing test, during which the students will be requested to traslante two short extracts from Italian to Chinese. Dictionaries allowed only in the second translation. No internet connection or glossary is allowed during the test.
Vote of this course will be a part of the final result of the course "Translation between Italian and Chinese I".
