Learning outcomes
Students will be introduced to a critical study of the notion of "human rights" in relationship with the contemporary debate on cosmopolitanism and "global justice", and in relationship with law and morals.
Course contents
Topics covered: contemporary theories of "human rights"; human rights, law and morals; human rights and global justice; human rights and cosmopolitanism.

The course's format will consist in reading and commenting selected texts in class. It may also have seminars.
Lectures will be held in Ravenna during the first semester.
