Learning outcomes

At the end of the module the student has basic knowledge on anesthesia and reanimation techniques.

Course contents

Anesthesia, resuscitation and pain therapy techniques.
BLS with a detailed analysis of the overdose diagnosis and therapy of central analgesics including heroin.
Pain therapy with particular attention to: phantom limb syndrome, lumbosciatalgia and cervicobrachialgia treated with innovative techniques. Mesotherapy.
Role of peripheral continuous blocks as a support to physiotherapy
Role of physiotherapy in antitromboembolic prophylaxis
Indication for plasma transfusion and concentrated red cells

Teaching methods

The course will also be characterized by interactivity with the students, in-progress checks will be carried out, in the form of a question or test to verify the real learning of the students during the lessons, to make any further study on some topics of particular importance.
