Learning outcomes

The course provides a basic knowledge of probability theory, its application to mathematical reliability and statistics.

Course contents

1. Probability theory: axioms of probability, conditional probability, distribution function and probability density, moments.
2. Reliability: parameters and functions for a single item, combinatorial reliability.
3. Statistics: parametric estimation, confidence intervals, regression.
