Learning outcomes

a) knowledge and understanding:the student must show to know the main clinical pictures of the victims of violence b)knowledge and understanding of applied: the student must be able to properly frame the case from a perspective psychiatric/medical examiner c)making judgments:the student must show to be able to integrate knowledge and manage the complexity of situations d)communication skills: the student must be able to communicate effectively with patients and victims of violence e)proficiency procedures to recognition of signs of violence and assistance as well as judicial proceedings. learning skills: the student must develop learning skills that enable them to study independently and profitable.

Course contents

Violence against women is one of the forms of human rights violations more severe and widespread in the world.It's about women of social strata, it exists in all countries, across all cultures, classes, races, levels of education, income and all age groups. Over 90% of women do not report the violence for fear. In particular, this elective course, which is multidisciplinary, aims to acquaint the student with the complexity of phenomenon and from the point of view of the various professionals involved in treatment and in reception of victims of violence.
