Learning outcomes
The student will learn to understand the main modalities of cell
death, with special emphasis on apoptosis. The student will
understand the physiological and pathological context of cell death
and the biochemical and molecular modifications that lead to
apoptosis and autophagy
Course contents
Cell death within its physiological and pathological context. Cell
senescence. Necrosis. Apoptosis. Autophagy. Biochemical and
molecular modifications and pathyways that underlay cell death and
make the cell choose one particular way of death.
Lesson schedule is reported in the section "communications" of each
teacher.
Lessons will be held in Via Belmeloro 8, Aula Polo Carinci

Since regular text books do not deal in a satisfactory way these
subjects, students will be given copies of scientific papers
