Learning outcomes
With this course a student acquires basic computer science
knowledge, with an emphasis on computer networks, the WWW, the use
of spreadsheets and the use of databases for scientific
research.
Course contents
At the end of this course the student has acquired the basics of
the WWW, the use of word processing tools such as MS Word and of
spreadsheets such as MS Excel in order to be able to analize
scientific data and create grapds. The student acquires the
knowledge sufficient to use the tools that are needed to organize
his/her work, including laboratory activities.
Three modules in the e-learning portal (Internet and WWW, Spreadsheets,
Databases/Access).
