Learning outcomes
The course aims to provide students with the tools to know: - the main epidemiological, etiological, morphological, phenotypic and clinical-pathological features of the most important non-neoplastic diseases (inflammatory, degenerative and ischemic) of the following systems: cardiovascular, lymphatic disorders , respiratory, gastro-intestinal, urinary, male genitalia, female genitalia, breast and endocrine systems, as well as the liver and biliary tract, pancreas, central nervous system and skin; - the main epidemiological, etiological, morphological, phenotypic, molecular and clinicopathological of the most important neoplastic diseases of the following systems: cardiovascular, respiratory, gastro-intestinal , male and female genital tract, breast, liver and biliary tract, pancreas, central nervous system , skin, bone and soft tissue. Inflammatory and neoplastic diseases of the lymphatic system. At the end of the course, the student is able to decode the diagnostic reports, with a clear perception of their prognostic and therapeutic value.

Teaching tools
The student can integrate the teaching course, attending the routine activities at the Service of Pathological Anatomy Pad 26, in agreement with the teacher. The routine activity implies sampling of the surgical specimens, the revision of the slides at the multiple microscope, and the autoptic activity.
