Learning outcomes

Knowledge of the morphologic, phenotypic and clinico-pathologic characteristics of B- and T-cell lymphomas. Capability to translate pathologic diagnoses into clinical practice according to the principle "decision making and problem solving".

Course contents

B-cell lymphomas: chronic lymphocytic leukaemia, B prolymphocytic leukaemia, lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma, nodal and splenic marginal zone lymphoma, hairy cell leukaemia, rare splenic lymphomas.

T-cell lymphomas: not otherwise specified and specified entities.

The Course “Pathology of malignant lymphomas” will be hold on Monday June 3rd at the Aula Magna di Patologia Generale - Via San Giacomo 14 -  from 9:00 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 18:00. It will be followed by the Courses “Molecular Pathology of lymphomas” (Professor Pier Paolo Piccaluga) and “Diagnostic Haematology” (Doctor Vittorio Stefoni) on June 4th and 5th at the same place and hours.

The final test and exam registration will be carried out on June 5th starting from 16:30.
