30161 - Francophone Literature 2 (2nd cycle)

Academic Year 2026/2027

Learning outcomes

Students have an in-depth knowledge of the history and development of non-European literatures in the French language, particularly North American Francophonie, with an approach that emphasises the relationship between literary texts and their historical, artistic, and linguistic contexts. They also develop comprehension and critical analysis skills regarding the cultural specificities of the studied geographical areas, as well as the political dynamics and ideological influences between different countries. They are familiar with and able to use practical methodologies for analysing and interpreting literary texts. They can conduct complex analyses and independently formulate reflections on specific research topics.
