Francesca Dainese

Francesca Dainese is a STARS Research Fellow at the University of Padua and teaches Francophone Literature at the University of Bologna. She holds a joint PhD from the University of Verona and Université Sorbonne Nouvelle – Paris 3 and is qualified for the position of Associate Professor in Italy and maître de conférences in France. Her research focuses on twentieth- and twenty-first-century French-language literatures, with particular attention to identity and migration, memory and its transmission, intertextuality, and literary rewriting, including theatrical adaptations. Her interests also include literature teaching and the digital humanities. She is a member of the Executive Board of SUSLLF and collaborates with several institutions, including the Fondation pour la Mémoire de la Shoah, of which she is a former fellow. She is the author of two monographs, has edited/co-edited four volumes, and published numerous articles. She collaborates with national and international academic journals and takes part in public engagement and outreach activities.
