Course contents
The course aims to address the history and concepts of intercultural pedagogy in the terms of a critical postcolonial and intersectional pedagogy, that is, one that is sensitive to the cultural, social, historical, and political experiences of minorities and how these experiences should be known, understood, and valued in the educational and training processes of minors and adults.
The aim of the course is to construct together with students a pedagogical “sabir,” a navigational map of keywords useful for the construction of educational contexts that are welcoming, transcultural and capable of shaping and transforming themselves thanks to the diversity of stories and experiences of women, men and girls and children who pass through the places of education, training and care in which as educators we accompany them.
