Attendance to learning activities is mandatory; the minimum attendance requirement to be admitted to the final exam is 66% of lessons. For Integrated Courses (IC), the 66% attendance requirement refers to the total amount of I.C. lessons. Students who fail to meet the minimum attendance requirement will not be admitted to the final exam of the course, and will have to attend relevant classes again during the next academic year.

Excused absences may be authorized by Professors upon receipt of proper justifying documentation, in case of illness or serious reasons. Excused absences do not count against a student’s attendance record to determine their minimum attendance requirement.

Modalità di verifica e valutazione dell'apprendimento

Physiology and Anatomy (oral exam) Semeiotics of the Chest (written test)

Assessment is marked out of 30 (cum laude), and 18 is the minimum score to pass each subject of the I.C.

Final score is calculated proportionally to the credit for each I.C. subject (Physiology 7 credit, Anatomy 3credit, Semiology 1credit). More details are provided each year during the class.

More specifically, the assessment exam for Semeiotics of the Chest during the COVID-19 pandemic will be performed online.

It consists of a multiple choice test made of 16 questions with 4 different answers. Only one answer is correct.

One point will be assigned for each correct answer, while 0 points for not answered questions or wrong answers.

A max of 16 points will be assigned to the test. A value of 16 will be considered 30 cum laude. The minimum score for passing the exam will be 7 points.

The test must be completed in 20 min

Note: A minimum score in all the 3 parts (Anatomy, Physiology, Semeiotics) is required in order to pass the exam. If minimum is not reached in one of the parts, the entire exam will be considered insufficient.
