Course contents
The training is organized on monthly rota (with the exception of February, August, October and November) for a maximum 10 students per month.
Main activities:
- Practical activities at the teaching dairy farm of the University
- Visits to feed industries, swine and sheeps farms.
- Use of software for rationing, monitoring and management of dairy herds.
- Small animal clinical nutrition
The calendar of activities will be published at the beginning of each month during an opening meeting, the first working-day of each month.
Teaching methods
Practical activities and specialized seminars, more than autonomous supplementary work.
During COVID emergency, acitivities will be performed by distance learning platforms.
Assessment methods
Each teacher will assess time by time the acquisition of related skills.
An assessment questionnaire will be delivered at the end of the month, regarding all the trainig topics. Passing the questionnaire and attending at least the 75% of the activities, is necessary to obtain eligibility of the training.
