The course methodology is participatory and lectures held by the teachers will alternate and integrate student presentations during lessons related to analyzed topics.

Assessment methods

I module:

A written examination (2 open questions) for the students who attend classes that is aimed at assessing the critical skills of the students and their ability to confront the texts and the topics covered during the course. The supplementary activities carried out in class and the students' presentations are part of the final evaluation.

An oral examination for the students who do not attend classes.

II module:

Oral examination

The final evaluation is given by the average of both modules.

Despite the fact that it is not compulsory, course attendance is highly recommended.

Given that an active involvement of students is required during lessons, course attendance (certified on the basis of a minimum 70% of presence) is necessary in order to take the exam for regular attendees.

Teaching tools

During lectures, the professor will use Power Point presentations that will be published on the website: https://iol.unibo.it

These documents do not substitute the compulsory reading materials, but they are supplementary and constitute a study guide to help gain a better understanding of the course contents.
