Learning outcomes

Upon completion of the module, the student will be able to: 

  • Understand the structure and areas of expertise of the DigCompEdu framework;
  • Know some teaching methodologies and technologies, including digital mediation, to support the implementation of active teaching methods;
  • Provide application examples of digitally augmented teaching methodologies and technologies.

Course contents

The module focuses on

  1. "Digital Teaching Methodologies and Technologies." Specifically, the main topics of the module are:
  2. DigCompEdu: the European reference framework for teachers' digital skills;
  3. Active teaching with digital technology; 2.1 Innovating teaching with (or without) technology.

Subject to the verification of the minimum attendance percentage, the assessment of learning of the course content is concurrent with the final exam for the acquisition of the teaching qualification in the competitive class of the training program, as required by Article 9 of the Prime Ministerial Decree of 4 August 2023.
