Learning outcomes

At the end of the module the student applies the acquired knowledge related to technical, relational and educational skills. Develops methodological skills related to care planning. The activity is developed in preparation for the internship experience.

Course contents

The course (1 CFU) is divided into modules that respond to specific fundamental areas of care. The areas and modules are aimed at acquiring technical and gestural skills that represent the practical application of the knowledge learned in the theoretical lessons.

 

MODULE A- Basic assistance: mobilization, feeding, medications, faecal elimination, urinary elimination, principles of sterility;
MODULE B-Assessment: vital parameters, electrocardiogram, relational laboratory;
MODULE C- Management of therapy: infusion therapy, vascular access, oxygen therapy.

The laboratory contents, the articulation, the teaching methods and the methods of learning tests will be illustrated in a preliminary presentation meeting.

Participation is 100% mandatory (as required by the Teaching Guidelines approved by the Nursing Programme of Faenza and Forlì-Ravenna campus), documented with signatures.

At the end of all the modules, an Open Lab session will be organized: a day with voluntary participation of a laboratory open to students in order to reinforce and deepen the fundamental clinical-assistance aspects, supported by the guidance of expert tutors of the training process.

  • Simulations and exercises individually or in small groups, conducted by expert tutors

  • Execution of 2 practical procedures with performance evaluation (> 70%)
