Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student is able to: Know the various aspects of the legislative system, the corporate prevention system, the public prevention system. Know the principles of accident prevention. Acquire criteria and tools for risk assessment and be able to evaluate the application and organizational effects of the assessment of some specific risks from work environments, falls from heights, fires and related emergency management Know the conditions of danger of accidents at work and the related remediation solutions in the main production sectors.
Course contents
Specific objectives:
Corporate risk assessment: reference methodology, supporting information sources and contents of the Risk Assessment Document (DVR).
Risk assessment in small/medium enterprises on the basis of Standardized Procedures.
The safety of plant and work equipment; the certification documentation and the main safety requirements established by the relevant legislation.
The analysis of the risks for health and safety in the workplace and the related prevention and protection measures in the production processes of the following sectors:
Metalworker
Wood
Agriculture
Healthcare
Ceramic
Logistics
Plastic
