At the end of the course the student has acquired a general knowledge of diseases in the field of nephrology with the identification and proposal of the specific dietary aspects of nephrology.

Teaching methods

The student will acquire the basic knowledge of the main diseases of nephrological interest and clinical, laboratory and instrumental investigations necessary to make a diagnosis.
The students will also have the chance to visit the nephrological units during practical lessons in which will be discussed clinical topics to improve clinical skills. The work-placements will be carried out in small groups throughout the course.
