  • Teaching Mode: Traditional lectures
  • Campus: Cesena
  • Corso: Single cycle degree programme (LMCU) in Architecture (cod. 9265)

Learning outcomes

Advanced course in the design and creation of architectural models. The aim of the course is the assimilation of theoretical and practical information through practical exercises that involve the use of computerized equipment for CAD (Computer Aided Drafting) CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing) processing provided by the Model laboratory

Course contents

The course aims to make students acquire awareness in the use of the model as a tool that actively fits into the various phases of the architectural process.

Understanding the importance of a correct evaluation of the representation of the architectural object, starting from the scale of representation up to the level of detail, the use of suitable materials and dedicated technologies means that the model can become an active design or collaboration tool to the final communication of the project depending on specific needs.
