Assessment methods

Academic Year 2022/2023
EXAMINATION with ORAL mode

The verification of learning takes place through a final examination that ascertains the acquisition of the expected knowledge through the conduct of an oral test. This test aims to assess the achievement of the learning objectives described above.

Each candidate will be asked two/three open questions on topics in psychiatry selected by the committee.

The purpose of the oral test is to verify the student's ability to apply his or her notional background and to make the necessary logical-deductive connections.

Final grade grading:

Preparation on a very limited number of topics covered in the course and ability to analyze emerging only with the help of the lecturer, expression in overall correct language → 18-19;
Preparation on a limited number of topics covered in the course and ability to analyze independently only on purely executive issues, expression in correct language → 20-24;

Preparation on a large number of topics covered in the course, ability to make independent choices of critical analysis, mastery of specific terminology → 25-29;

Substantially comprehensive preparation on the topics covered in the course, ability to make independent choices of critical analysis and linking, full mastery of specific terminology, and ability to argue and self-reflect → 30-30 L.
The grade obtained for individual module will contribute to the grade obtained for the integrated course, proportionally to the number of CFUs. For the Psychology part, check program and modalities indicated by Prof. Silvana Grandi within the integrated course PSYCHIATRY AND CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY (C.I.)

Exams will be held in attendance unless otherwise indicated by the Dean.

For ERASMUS students who need to take only the psychiatry exam, please, refer to Prof. ATTI (the date is the day before the date set for Italian students).
