Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is able to recognise oral pathologies requiring oral surgery. In particular is able to know methods of oral hygiene in patients before and after oral surgery procedures and his role in the treatment plan.

  • Basic knowledges of anatomy in oral sugery
  • Objective examination and clinical record
  • Dental extractions principles
  • Hygienic preparation of the patient before oral surgeries
  • Hygienic maintenance of the patient after oral surgeries
  • The role of the hygienist in the oral surgery treatment plan
